Lithium SaltsFormerly, Lithium Salts are extensively used to treat health complications resulting from depression and acute melancholia. Presently, these are used as electrolyte or battery materials, as refrigerant and as suitable desiccant agent. These Lithium Salts are also used for removal of hydrogen chloride. Available in white powder form, these are soluble in water and are preferred for their pure composition. These are insoluble in organic solvents like acetone. It consists of higher amount of lithium bromide, negligible amount of magnesium, calcium, iron and chloride. High melting point and boiling point, non toxic content, odorless nature and long shelf life are some of the special attributes of Lithium Salts.
